The annual AMP/OMEA Conference provides an opportunity to learn from industry experts and network with peers. It attracts more than 450 elected officials, utility executives and staff from member communities, as well as AMP staff, consultants and Municipal Electric Partners.
The conference features informative sessions on issues and technologies affecting public power, local government and the electric utility industry in general. It also provides an opportunity to learn about trends, changes and new ideas, as well as a way to develop practical programs to benefit customers.
General membership and project participant meetings are held in conjunction with educational sessions. The conference also features an annual awards banquet to recognize the outstanding efforts of member utility systems.
