Jared Price serves as Senior Vice President of Information Technology and CIO. Price has been a dedicated member of AMP since 2011. In his current role, Price oversees all aspects of AMP’s IT infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity for both Information Technology (IT) and Operations Technology systems. He is instrumental in guiding AMP’s enterprise IT architecture decisions, including SCADA and plant operations systems.

As the lead architect, Price designed AMP’s Advanced Metering Infrastructure program for municipalities. With nearly 25 years of experience, he excels in IT procurement, infrastructure deployment, cybersecurity, directing IT staff, managing projects, defining strategic roadmaps, leadership, managing IT budgets, and providing support and guidance for both enterprise and mid-sized IT departments.

Price holds a bachelor’s degree from DeVry University and a master’s degree in business administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management. He is also certified as a Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) and participated in the 2023 Department of Energy’s Operational Technology Defender Fellowship program.

Passionate about cybersecurity, Price’s mission is to secure critical infrastructure. He actively assists AMP’s Members in securing their infrastructure and systems, and in strengthening their defenses against cyber threats.
