

Kellie Pertuset joined American Municipal Power, Inc. (AMP) in 2025 as Vice President of Human Resources and Talent Management. In this role, Pertuset leads and provides strategic direction to the Human Resources (HR) Department. This includes talent management, training, recruiting, compliance, payroll, benefits, budgeting and labor relations. She serves as a member of AMP’s Executive Management Team and works to strengthen employee engagement and drive an inclusive culture.
Pertuset has more than 25 years of experience in HR management, most recently serving as Head of HR for Mettler-Toledo International, Inc., a multinational corporation that produces precision instruments and services. In that role, she led all aspects of HR for the organization’s production facilities and provided leadership in establishing and implementing local, national and global HR objectives, policies and plans. She served as a member of the organization’s senior leadership team and collaborated with the General Managers and department leaders by providing leadership and consulting support on matters of goal setting, policy development and support in linking business and tactical strategies.
Pertuset holds a Bachelor of Science in health services administration and a Master of Business Administration from Franklin University. She holds certifications from HRCI as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and from the Society for Human Resource Management as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
