AMP Promotes Price to Vice President of Information Technology/Chief Technology Officer

COLUMBUS, OH: American Municipal Power, Inc. (AMP) is pleased to announce that Jared Price has been promoted to vice president of information technology/CTO.

Price joined AMP in 2011 as IT director and has since taken on roles with increasing responsibility, and has proven to be a valuable asset to AMP in both information technology and operations technology strategy. As vice president of information technology/CTO, he is responsible for oversight of SCADA and plant systems, assisting with AMP’s Advanced Metering Program and helping to refine the overall IT strategy of the organization. Price will continue to report to Branndon Kelley, chief information officer.

“Jared has become an integral part of my team here at AMP over the years,” said Branndon Kelley, AMP chief information officer. “His vast experience and leadership will continue to contribute greatly as AMP enhances IT strategies to tackle challenges of an ever-changing industry.”

Price has more than 15 years of experience in infrastructure deployment, directing IT staff, managing projects, and providing support and guidance for both enterprise and mid-sized IT departments. He holds a bachelor’s degree from DeVry University and a master’s degree in business administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management. Price was named a Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional by Global Information Assurance Certification.
